Build your embed

1. Paste the iframe

Copy the snippet above, or build the URL yourself:

https://krux42.com/embed/{type}/{id}/{options}

  • type — track, artist, album, or playlist
  • id — a Spotify ID or a KruX42 muz_id
  • options — optional trailing segments, any order: dark or light (defaults to the viewer’s system theme), and compact for a slimmer card

Example: https://krux42.com/embed/album/{id}/dark/compact. Older ?theme= / ?compact=1 links keep working.

2. Or just paste the link (oEmbed)

Platforms that support oEmbed — WordPress, Notion, Discord, Slack, Ghost, and many CMSs — turn a pasted KruX42 link into the player automatically. The endpoint is:

https://krux42.com/api/oembed?url={krux42_url}&format=json

Every track, artist, album, and playlist page also advertises its oEmbed endpoint via a discovery <link rel="alternate"> tag, so most tools detect it with no extra steps.
